Trunking is so hard it almost by no means works. But you would need to have each and every trunking code in your district for it to operate properly. Dependent on in which you are also your analog would not pick up any condition patrol even with trunking. My place state, city and the rest are all digital with the exception of a couple. Electronic scanners are everywhere from 600-2000$ . My fire dept is also digital.
